SOTS SUMMER SHOWCASE 2015,
THE ABBEY THEATRE, NUNEATON
This was Step onto Stages first ever showcase which showcased many songs with 42 students performing on stage off the back of three successful workshops. Here SOTS took to the Abbey Theatre stage for the first time which was put together in a limited amount of time. The showcase has songs from Matilda, Billy Elliot, Grease and much much more. It is a celebration of work that students from Coventry and the surrounding area have worked so hard on.
TWISTED TALES 2016
THE ABBEY THEATRE, NUNEATON
We were so excited to be back at The Abbey Theatre, to present this fantastic fairytale showcase. We followed Alice going through the rabbit hole as she greeted some very familiar faces. Following a story of friendship, dreams and wishes, we meet all of our Wonderland Characters and saw them tell their true stories.
With music from many current and old musicals and artists, we transported you into a mystical land. Such as, 'Wonderland the Musical', 'Finding Neverland', 'Into the Woods', 'Beauty and the Beast ', Rodgres and Hamersteins 'Cinderella', 'Shrek' and many more.
This was our first year to see our first lot of Graduates fly the nest, who have all made a difference in the world in their own way. Four going on to pursue further education in Musical Theatre and one carrying out their dream to be a Nurse.

FRONTLINE 2017
THE ABBEY THEATRE, NUNEATON
For the third show we were back at The Abbey Theatre to present 'Frontline'. This showcase certainly was an emotional rollercoaster. Based on the stories of WW2, we took the audience through the lives of people at that time in history. From children being evacuated, the holocaust and the excitement of being reunited back as family when the war came to a close, our students made us so proud in bringing one of Englands darkest hours onto the stage. The show stands as tribute to those who have given their lives for our freedom. This year we also paid tribute to the Manchester bombings and those who lost their lives through such a tragic event.

The show included music from 'The Blitz', 'Rent', 'Billy Elliot', 'The Secret Garden', 'The Wild Party' and many more. Not forgetting the classics of the era such as Boogie Woogie, Sing sing sing and Dame Vera Lynes We'll Meet Again.
During this we had three graduates leave us for the next part of their journey and have loved being there to guide them into their next part of their lives.

READ ALL ABOUT IT 2018
THE ABBEY THEATRE, NUNEATON
This was our final show in The Abbey Theatre presenting 'Read All About It'. The showcase took you on a journey through New Yorks streets with many twists and turns to understand the tales, hardships and determination of the people who live in this incredible, fast paced city.
With music from 'Newsies', 'Guys and Dolls', 'Rent', 'Bugsy Malone', 'Copacabana', 'Thoroughly modern Millie', 'Sunday in the Park with George' and many more. Including a tribute to one of the most horrifying attacks on the Twin Towers.
Our students shone in this upbeat and uplifting showcase.
Another year meant we lost our next Graduates. This year three left us for the big wide world and we couldn't be more excited to see where their lives take them. Keep up to date with their progress on the 'Our Graduates' page.

THE PIT OF CURIOSITIES 2019
ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA CENTRE
We were so excited to move to a brand new venue for our fifth showcase production of 'The Pit of Curiosities'.
In this showcase we followed a story of how different individuals with unique gifts were cast aside from society. Be it the way they look, talk, walk or are. It shows how strong people really are and how resilience and standing up for what is right is always the best thing to do. Within the tale we created an adventure that took us on a rollercoaster of emotions as we watched the many obstacles the people had to face, leaving the audience at the edge of their seat.
With music from and by 'Jekyl and Hyde', 'Cher', 'Six',' Dear Evan Hansen', 'Carrie the Musical', 'Sister Act', 'Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street', 'Side Show' and many more.
This year one graduate left us for the big wide world and we can't see what they do in the future in whatever they decide to do. So proud of our graduates.

OLYMPUS 2021, ROYAL SPA CENTRE, LEAMINGTON
Olympus was a very important and memorable performance in 2021 as we were the first show back at the Spa Centre after COVID. We had to overcome so many hurdles and comply to so many regulations but, with the dedication, hard work and focus from our students, staff and volunteers we did it.
This production followed the stories of the Greek Gods and Goddesses and the obstacles they have faced. We discovered how power can be a dangerous thing and how we all have our own secrets to hide. This incredible story gave our Step onto Stage students a standing ovation which was deserved after one of the toughest rehearsal processes .
With music from 'Heathers', 'Wonderland', 'Lord of the Rings', 'Dear Evan Hansen' and many more.
This year I said goodbye to four incredibly talented performers who have been with me for a while with two of those Graduates starting since the very beginning of SOTD. I am so proud of them all and cannot wait to watch them on thier journey.

AMOUR 2022
ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA CENTRE
This will be the third time Step onto Stage has performed at the Royal Spa Centre, Leamington. As usual we have collaborated on many songs and music, from well known musicals as well as diving back into the past which are incorporated with pop/chart music along the way.
This year’s showcase follows a young girl's journey full of obstacles and challenges set in Paris around the famous lock bridge. Within this tale we take our audiences on an adventure which showcases a rollercoaster of emotions as we watch the many obstacles Madeline has to face, hopefully leaving you all on the edge of your seat!

PROMINENCE 2023
ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA CENTRE
This is our fourth show at Leamington and as ever we loved every moment performing here. This year SOTS students will took you in a time machine back to America in the 1960’s! We looked back at all of the important times in history which allowed many people to live their life as they are today. We dived into the TV and look at the significance of it allowing people to become prominent for what they believe in.
Within our story we tell the tale of others through many songs, dances and acting sections with well know music from Musicals, music from the era and current music. This enables us to take you on an adventure though the 10inch screen to tell the tale of many prominent people.
